Lovely

A.R. Salandy

Picture
Where sweet scented air
And vast marble constructions collide
Can a sublime be found

Far above the typical worries
That grow rife in languished minds
That wither away amongst vexations
That overwhelm and contort-

All manner of mindfulness,

But amongst aromatic incense
Any sense of disease
Becomes all the more redundant

As the delusions become one
And the deranged laughter
Becomes the only delineation
Amongst the technicolor-

Of an insanity so strong
That although one may be blinded
By a contorted world so sublime

It becomes anything
But the rosy skies
That serve as a fallacy-

So lovely still.
